Job Description

The Helper will assist in various tasks within the department, contributing to the overall efficiency of daily operations. This role involves providing support to skilled workers or team members, ensuring the workspace is organized, and helping with routine tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

General Assistance:

  • Assist in performing basic tasks such as loading/unloading materials, assembling products, or handling tools.
  • Help set up equipment and workstations for team members.
  • Transport materials and supplies to required locations within the workspace.

Maintenance and Organization:

  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and materials, ensuring they are properly stored.
  • Report any damaged or malfunctioning tools/equipment to the supervisor.

Manual Labor:

  • Perform basic manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving items of varying weight.
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of work projects.

Safety Compliance:

  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that work areas remain free of hazards, debris, and obstacles.

Team Support:

  • Collaborate with other team members and provide support where needed.
  • Follow directions and assist skilled workers with specialized tasks when required.

Other Duties:

  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Skills: Ability to handle basic tools and equipment safely. Physical strength to perform manual labor tasks.

  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of workplace safety and equipment handling.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items and stand or walk for extended periods.
